Shown above is an example of all three of a Monstuni's forms. The Petite, Normal, and Grand forms! Note that the above art is only an example for one character, and your Monstuni (depending on their traits and features) may look very, very different; but the concept of having three forms carries over to ALL Monstuni!
Do All Monstuni have these forms?
YES! All Monstuni, no matter how common, how rare, mutated, or otherwise have a Petite, a Normal, and a Grand form they are able to shift into! While the Petite and Normal forms are pretty standard in shape and size, the Grand (monster) form has a wide variety of shapes and sizes that you can read more about on the Traits Page (Body Types). How often your Monstuni uses a certain form, and which form they prefer is completely up to you, however!

PETITE FORM:
The Petite form is a smaller, more energy conserving form that is used when a Monstuni is sick, injured, or just incapable of expending energy. The smaller form ranges anywhere between 1.3' and 3.5' tall for all Monstuni, and is easily recognized by it's larger eyes, toe-less (peg) legs, and simplified features/markings (features that carry over to the Petite form from the Normal form may dull/simplify, or disappear completely; as well as some markings and patterns!). Due to being simplified, some traits may not carry over from the normal form to the petite form, but that is entirely up to you! It has become common for Monstuni to use this energy saving form as a method of self defense, because who would want to hurt something so adorable?

NORMAL FORM:
This is the natural form of the species, and neither saves, nor burns more energy than normal. The normal form can be anywhere between 4' and 8.3' tall (that's over eight feet in some cases!), and may have subtle variance in body type depending on the height, weight, sex, and build of the individual (you're more than welcome to make your Monstuni more lean, thin, muscular, fat, stout, etc.). The features present on the Normal form may carry over to the other two forms; simplifying in the Petite form, and exaggerating in the Grand form.

GRAND FORM:
The Grand form is a monster-like, feral form for the Monstuni; which uses up a massive amount of energy to burn off adrenaline or anxiety, or just extra amounts of energy that the body isn't needing. This form can be triggered by excitement, anger, fear, or anything that causes a burst of energy. The Grand form is the only form affected by the Body type trait, and depending on which body type trait the individual has, will change what the Grand Form looks like. (the example image shows the Bol body type, so yours might be different!). Features from the normal form may be enlarged, exaggerated, or grow in complexity. New features exclusive to the grand form may also appear, and markings/patterns may also become more complex as well! Because the body types are so different in the grand form, the height is totally dependent on which trait you have.

Can I draw my Monstuni as a human/sphinx/dog/other?
YES! Although any forms or alternate forms are strictly non-canonical for the species, you are welcome to draw your Monstuni in any form you please (this excludes other closed or or created species without consent from the species creator!) be it human, feral, or what have you! I will have to stress that these additional forms be left to just "fun" scenarios, as canonically, Monstuni cannot change into anything other than their three main forms.
