FOREWARNING:
This section describes reproduction through sexual intercourse in a fictional species for the sake of explaining how the species is born and how they reproduce. Most of the information here is completely unrealistic and is not meant to be so, but as this is a fictional species, so is the way their bodies work. If you are uncomfortable with, or cannot handle this type of material, please do not concern yourself with any of the content of this page!
HOW ARE BABIES CONCEIVED:
You probably know by now that there are two sexes of Monstuni; Male and Female (this does not define their psychological GENDER, just the physical sex). While the Monstuni are a species that reproduce sexually, the sex of the individual plays no role in reproduction other than having certain features or physical characteristics that the other sex does not. Both Sexes are capable of reproducing with the opposite or the same sex, as they both carry both cells necessary for conception. (see "What Purpose does Sex Play?" at the bottom of the page.)
Both Male and Female Monstuni have an organ that produces and houses egg cells, and an organ that produces sperm cells, and depending on what they need to be produced, they can easily reproduce with members of the same sex, or the opposite sex, as they are capable of having any style of reproductive "parts" regardless of their sex. (see "What Parts can my Monstuni Have?" at the bottom of this page.)
When the sperm cells come into contact with the egg cells; this is how the baby Monstuni are conceived.

HOW ARE BABIES BORN:
After conception, a baby Monstuni will develop inside the body for a period of ten months; growing into a small infant (which is generally about 5 to 6 pounds when they are ready to be born), which are birthed through special canals leading to the organ that housed them in the body (both males and females no matter what parts they have will have this canal between the urethra and the anus (yes, they eat and drink and need to get rid of waste! don't let it surprise you!). The canal's opening is relatively small, but can dilate quite wide to allow the infant to be born. This canal will close shortly after birth, and is generally left unharmed thanks to how stretchy the skin of this area is. The body typically will not produce another egg right away, but rather start producing again after six to eight months.

What Purpose does Sex Play?
The purpose of the physical sexes plays a role in the appearance of the Monstuni. Females are generally much more curved, with breasts, and are usually smaller than males. Male Monstuni have a more rigid, wide body, and are typically taller than females. But what purpose does this serve if both sexes have the same sexual organs? Though it is largely unknown why a species that is born with the same set of sexual organs through all members has sexual dimorphism, it may be just be a display; which is the most sensical explanation so far.

What Parts can my Monstuni Have?
Because the Monstuni are shapeshifers, and have both internal reproductive organs regardless of their sex; it's known that Monstuni can have ANY type of "naughty bits" they choose, be they male, female, or something completely alien. How you draw these reproductive parts is completely up to you, and you can use any one, or multiple styles on your Monstuni if you like!

Can Monstuni reproduce with other species?
No! the Monstuni can only reproduce among themselves, and cross-species reproduction will be limited to future hybrids of the species if and when the species creator decides to implement those things into the group/species. As for now, the Monstuni cannot impregnate or become pregnant with any other species!

What is the difference between Sex and Gender?
In the Monstuni species, Sex defines the features of the physical body, which are set in stone from the moment the individual is born. There are two physical sexes, Male and Female, each one with it's own genetic code which cannot be changed or altered. Gender is a psychological factor which is defined by the individual themselves and may be 'discovered' or 'defined' at any point in time, and can be altered or changed depending on the way the individual perceives themselves. There is NO LIMIT to the Gender Identities of the Monstuni species, and you can define yourself as being whatever Gender you want regardless of your Physical Sex.
Some Monstuni have been known to get surgical changes to better suit their gender identity; or to alter the way the body looks to better fit with the way they see themselves. This is OK!
